Cascade Excavations was founded on the values of hard work, and reliability. As a Native Nevadan with over two decades of experience in the construction industry, our owner brings deep local knowledge and proven expertise to every project.

We provide professional excavation, grading, demolition, and underground utility services for residential, commercial, and manufactured housing development projects throughout Northern Nevada. We ensure every project begins with a solid, well-prepared foundation.

Our expertise includes the installation and rehabilitation of water, sewer and utility lines. We work on both new developments and the restoration of aging infrastructure, helping extend the life and reliability of essential underground utilities. Whether replacing deteriorating lines or upgrading existing utility lines, our work supports long-term performance and public safety.

In addition, Cascade Excavations offers backflow prevention services, including installation and maintenance of backflow prevention devices. These systems are critical in safeguarding public water supplies by preventing contamination from entering clean water systems. By meeting strict local and state compliance standards, we help protect the health and safety of the communities we serve.

Meet the Owner

Ernest Hagler, a Native Nevadan, brings more than 20 years of hands-on experience in underground utilities construction. Throughout his career, he has worked on both new development projects and the rehabilitation of aging infrastructure, building a strong reputation for precision, reliability, and problem-solving expertise.

Ernest has contributed to numerous city and county infostructure projects across Northern Nevada, helping improve and modernize essential infrastructure systems that support neighborhoods, businesses, and public facilities. His deep understanding of local terrain, regulations, and construction standards allows him to approach each project with confidence and efficiency.

Ernest founded Cascade Excavations with a clear vision: to provide dependable, high-quality services that last. As an owner-operator, he remains directly involved in projects, ensuring that every job reflects the standards and work ethic on which the company was built.
